Patsy Rachel Arbaugh, 80, of Winfield, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at home, surrounded by her daughters Patsy was born October 27, 1938 in Coalsburg, and was the daughter of the late Elbert Sherman and Ivy Rachel Perkins Allison. She is also preceded in death by her husband Ward Arbaugh. She continued to live on her own another five years after the loss of her husband of 57 years.

Even after a long hard battle with lung cancer, she bounced back, without ever complaining. She enjoyed sitting on the porch and visiting with her neighbors. She always looked forward to the first rose of summer.

She was always cheerful, laughing and singing, and the most pleasant person you would ever meet. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughters Robin Thomas (Brian) of Scott Depot and Kelly Arbaugh (Paul Turner) of Scott Depot; two grandchildren, Matt and Kelsey Thomas; and sister, Donna Allison. Funeral will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Hospice Care, as well as all the caring family, friends, and neighbors who helped us through this difficult time.
