Obituary of Patsy Jumper Mary Elizabeth “Patsy” Jumper of Athens, TX entered into eternal rest with her heavenly father March 20, 2019. Patsy was born November 30, 1930 in Goodnight Switch, TX to Isaac Wilson Hughes and Mary Francis Wilkins Hughes. She married the love of her life and soul mate John Jumper on April 21, 1951 in Cayuga, TX.

They celebrated 66 years of marriage in 2017 before John went home to be with the Lord. Patsy loved her family and church family very much. She was very active and served both with a servant’s heart.

She taught many years for day cares in Hawaii and Malakoff. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband John Jumper, parents Isaac and Mary Hughes, brothers Charles Hughes, and Wilburn Hughes. She is survived by her daughters Elaine Wallace, Sharon Bamburg, Karen Hylla and husband Dan Hylla, grandchildren John Gray and wife Michelle, Jason Gray and wife Lisa, Meghan Wallace, Kelli Brantley and Tony Pryor.

Her beautiful legacy continues with her great-grandchildren Ty Gray, Joshua Gray, Landyn Gray, John Simpson, Amilliah Kyer, Victoria Kyer, and Cheyenne Gray. Aidan Gray, Rylee Marvel, Kaylian Yates, Kyrsten Yates, and Chance McNabb. Family will receive visitors Sunday March 24, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX.

Service will be 2:30 PM, Monday March 25, 2019 at Hilltop Worship Center, Malakoff, TX with Bro. Tommy Hayes officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Perkins, Dan Hylla, Tony Pryor, Ron Hudghins, Joshua Gray and Marcus Beamon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Landyn Gray, Aidan Gray and John Simpson. Interment will be in Judson Cemetery, Cayuga, TX.
