Brown-Mack Funeral Home Patty R. Hinkle, 68, of Dana, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born January 12, 1950, in Clinton, to William Ray Griffin and Waunita Little Griffin. She was formerly a cook.

She was married to Robert Hinkle on January 13, 1968, in Montezuma, and he survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Henry, Billy, Tony, and Tim Griffin. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by 2 sons, Tony (Danielle N.) Hinkle and Rob Hinkle, both of Dana; 10 siblings, Virgil Griffin, Judy Stockton, Dennis Griffin, Terri Griffin, Peggy Fortner, Connie Doan, Roger Griffin, Becky Kinderman, Danny Griffin, Randy Griffin; 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Trever, Jermiah, Kati, Kourtee, Scherrie, Tesa, Markus, Christopher, Ashton, Alxes, Tori; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 3 pm to 6 pm. Services will begin at 6 pm. Cremation will follow.

A dinner at the Dana Firehouse will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Patty Hinkle. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
