Obituary for Paul E Vervack Paul E. Vervack, 92, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on October 23, 2018. He was born in Bonaza, Arkansas, to the late Casmer and Francis Vervack. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Vervack and daughter, Nancy (Vervack) McStay.

He is survived by his son Larry Vervack and wife, Carol, son-in-law Charles McStay, five grandchildren, Kelly Pratt and husband, Jason (Austin, TX), Ryan Vervack and wife Jessica (Aldie, VA) Marc Vanderslice and wife Megan (Austin, TX), Mike McStay and Mandy McStay both of Midwest City, six greatgrandchildren, Megan and John Pratt, Cameron and Avalon Vervack, and Molly and Mac Vanderslice. Paul was a decorated veteran of both WWII and the Korean War earning a Bronze Star with “V” Device, a Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was a career civil servant with the General Services Administration.

He was a devoted Oklahoma Sooner football fan who attended every home game with his daughter Nancy until her untimely death in 2010. Throughout his life he was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will always be remembered as “PaPa” by his family. To his friends, he was loyal, caring, generous and forgiving.

He was a member of Sooner Baptist Church in Midwest City. He often said that he had led a wonderful, full life and had done everything he had ever wanted to do. The family would like to thank Mitzi Alvarez, Kisha Hill and Excell Hospice for the compassionate and loving care they provided him in his greatest time of need.
