Obituary for Paul Henry Scovitch Sr. Paul Henry Scovitch, Sr. 75 of Mt. Airy Passed away Friday March 1, 2019 from encephalitis caused from a shingles infection in his eye eight years ago. He died at home surrounded by his family and his wife of 49 ½ years, Charlene Mary (Utterback) Scovitch.

He was born February 19, 1944 in Harrisonburg, VA the son of the late Henry Paul Scovitch and the late Madeline Elizabeth (Michael) Scovitch. Mr. Scovitch was a self-employed Auto Body and Repair Mechanic, he loved 55 Chevys, enjoyed fishing, going to car shows, tracking down auto parts at various junk yards and playing board games with his friends. Surviving in addition to his wife are son Paul Henry Scovitch, Jr. of Mt.

Airy, daughter Carolyn and husband Douglass Barreiro of McKeesport, PA, son Charles L. Scovitch of Mt. Airy, sister Cheryl (Scovitch) and husband Van McCardle of Clayton, NC and Aunt Margie Good of Harrisonburg, VA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
