OBITUARY Paul Javier Contreras December 28, 1933 – September 18, 2018 Paul Javier Contreras, 84, of Westlake, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born on December 28, 1933 in the Republic of Panama. He was employed by Dow Chemical for several years.

He enjoyed reading, especially History, watching TV, and camping. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Verna Contreras; one son, Mark Robin and wife Sophia of Moss Bluff; two daughters, Annette Robin of Lake Charles, Dorie Chapman and husband Darren of Moss Bluff; five grandchildren, Lacie Cox (Clint), Andrew Robin (Casey), Robin Onxley (Cody), Cade Robin, Taylor Meyers; along with seven great grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by his son, Tim Robin; along with his parents. Services will be held at 11:00am at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Thursday, September 20, 2018 with Bro. Ronnie Estes officiating.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, from 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
