Paul John Risley, 48, of Lebanon, passed away after a brief illness on November 29, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Rhode Island on March 18, 1970, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Carolyn (Schulz) Risley. As a youth, Paul participated in Soccer and Cross Country Running.

Paul grew up on the family farm, known as R-Farm in Lebanon. He took great pride in the farm and continued working it throughout his life. Paul also ran a landscaping company known as Risley Landscaping.

Paul was full of spirit. He always did his best to help others. His greatest love and joy were his children, Ben and Becca.

Both of his children have his spirit and will carry on his generous heart, each in their own way. Paul was a wonderful friend, father, and brother and he will be truly missed. He has touched many lives throughout his lifetime and even in passing, Paul has left the gift of life to several in need by being an organ donor.

He will be forever in our hearts. May God rest his soul in eternal peace. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Benjamin and Rebecca Risley; his sister, Geri Risley of Lebanon and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, December 11th at 4 pm at the First Congregational Church of Lebanon (Jct. of Rtes. 207 & 87), Lebanon.

Burial will be private in the New Lebanon Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lebanon Recreational Soccer, 579 Exeter Rd, Lebanon 06249. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.
