Paul Lane Roark, age 82, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, at The Residence at Alive Hospice with his loving wife, Carmela, by his side. Paul was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 22, 1936, to the late Willie Mai Lane Roark Brown. Paul was a Christian and a United States Navy Reserve Retiree and Veteran, serving over 40 years for his country.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carmela Gonzales Roark and his sister, JoAnn Spivey.

Funeral service will be Monday, March 25, 2019, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee, with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday, March 24, 2019, from 2pm to 7pm and on Monday, March 25th, from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
