Obituary for Paul Obadiah Wood Print Paul Obadiah Wood, 74, of Eudora, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home in Eudora, AR. Paul was born on August 12, 1944 in Tucumcari, NM to the late Rufus Obadiah and Lorene Harvill Wood. He was a graduate of Humnoke High School.
Paul was a sales representative for Helena Chemical Corporation for twenty three years. Previously he had worked for Bogard Grain and Seed Company in Stuttgart, AR for twenty years. Paul was very active in Rotary and was recognized twice as the Paul Harris “Fellow”.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was an outstanding gardener and was also a licensed pilot. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Lynn Wood; brothers, Bill Lokey, Lewis Edward Wood, Clarence Leon Wood and Kenneth Dale Wood; sisters, Lois Price and Faye Barth.
Survivors include his wife of fifty five years Betty McCune Wood; daughter, Paula Keffer and her husband Tom of Gillett, AR; son, Eddie Wood and his wife Bethany of Stuttgart, AR; sister, Carolyn Lawson and her husband Glenn of Hamburg, AR; brother, Jim Wood and his wife Nancy of Stuttgart, AR; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at 3:00-5:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, AR. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at Flynn Cemetery near Humnoke, AR.
