Soltys June 07, 1947 – March 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Paul Phillip “Boe” Soltys 71 years old Sicklerville, NJ He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his three sons and his sister. Paul spent his youth in Cliffwood Beach, NJ and Port Elizabeth, NJ and spent 15 years in South Amboy, NJ where he was the president of the Little League and impacted many young lives with his passionate dedication to baseball and to shaping young boys into athletes and good young men. Paul served in the US Navy from 1964 – 1968 on the USS Enterprise and in Vietnam.

He was also a dedicated Union Sheet Metal worker and considered his Union brothers his second family. He retired from Local 19 in Philadelphia just two years ago where he missed working until his last days. He is survived by his 3 loving sons, Jaime, Stacy and Paul Soltys, and his sister Mary Lu Holub.

His spouse of 45 years, Eileen Soltys, passed in 2015 at 69 years old. He was grandfather to Brenna Michelle Soltys and Paul Christopher Soltys, Arya Eileen Soltys and wanted to be here for the birth of Theodore Christopher Soltys this coming August. There will be a viewing from 6pm to 9pm on Monday evening and 10am to 11am Tuesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home. Interment private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150 Chicago, IL 60601.
