Paul S. Mospens, 97, passed away January 22, 2019 surrounded by family in Villa Hills, KY. He was born May 30, 1921 in Cleveland, OH to the late Charles and Anna Mospens. Paul was a resident of Eastlake for 68 years, an original parishioner of St Justin Martyr Church, a member of the Holy Name Society, and a WWII Army Veteran.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He will be deeply missed. Paul is survived by his children, Joan Ashby, Tom Mospens, Margaret (Terry) Geffert, Susan (Kurt) Nicaise, Patricia (Alan) Acheson, Paula (Jerome) O’Dowd, and Michael (Christine) Mospens, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Rita (Sonnhalter), and his brothers, Jack and Charles. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH. Memorial mass will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12:30 pm at St Justin Martyr Church, 35711 Stevens Blvd.

, Eastlake. Inurnment at Mentor Cemetery will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the JFK Senior Board, 1580 East 332 St., Eastlake, OH 44095.
