Paula was born July 9, 1952 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Lloyd and Diane (DeVries) Meeker. She retired from the Kalamazoo County Friend of the Court and enjoyed spending time with family, her dogs and co-workers.

In 1979 in Kalamazoo Paula was united in marriage to Douglas Minshall who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Diane Meeker of Oshtemo; three children, Maureen LaBonte of Galesburg, David (Sabrina) LaBonte of Richland, Joseph LaBonte of Galesburg; brother, Danny (Julie) Meeker of Oshtemo; eight grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Michael and David Meeker.
