OBITUARY Pauline Chastain December 4, 1935 – October 18, 2018 On Thursday, October 18, 2018, Pauline Chastain went to be with the Lord at the age of 82. Emma Pauline was born in Cleveland, TN on December 4, 1935 to Raymond and Myrtle Chadwick. Pauline was the second eldest of nine children.

The family moved around to various places, then eventually settled in Anderson, CA where Pauline met Gordon Chastain. They were married On September 2, 1954 in Reno, NV, after which they had three children, Jeri, Jolene, and Randy. Pauline had a passion for her family.

There was nothing more important to her than being around her family, and making sure that they and friends always felt welcome and supported. She retired from American River College after having worked there for over 25 years as a Food Service Supervisor. She will always be remembered for her kindness, hospitality, quick wit, spunk, and love.

Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Raymond, her mother, Myrtle, sister, Wanda, brother, Raymond Jr., daughter, Jeri, and grandson, Jeremy. She is survived by her loving husband, Gordon, daughter, Jolene, son, Randy, granddaughters Nicole (Drew), Melissa (Jeremy), Cheri (Darrin), Jessica, Holly (Norman), great-grandchildren Haley, Cody, Norman, Simon, siblings Florence, Kathy, Jerry (Connie), Tina (Virgil), Linda, LaRae (Steve), and many nieces, and nephews. A memorial service for Pauline will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 10am, at Antelope Road Christian Fellowship at 7951 Antelope Road, Citrus Heights, CA 95610.
