Pauline “Cookie” Caceres, 59, of Chatsworth, GA, died Monday, October 15, 2018 at Emory Healthcare following a brief illness. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 14, 1958, daughter of Lydia Colon Britt, and the late Bruno Trimboli. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Caceres on December 31, 2017.

Sister Cookie served her beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, faithfully alongside her husband; the not so silent force and strength behind the man, the missionary, that everybody else saw. She saw the world as a servant of her Lord, travelling in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. The matriarch of her family, she was the bond that kept her family strong, “a wise woman” that built her house.

A wife, a mom, and “Granny”, she was always, and above all, a servant. She was proudly a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church for more than 30 years and loved her church. Half Puerto Rican, half Italian, born and raised in Brooklyn, she was a force of nature to all that knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her sons and daughters-in-law, Julio and Mandy Caceres of Summerville, SC, and Cesar and Kristin Caceres; her mother and step-father, Lydia Colon Britt and John Britt; her sister, Tina Mash of Chicago, IL, her grandchildren, Rebekah, Benjamin, Dimitri, Abigail, Bethanie, Molly, Zachary, and Connor (Paquito); and nieces and nephews, Marie, Jackie and Carlos Mash, Vincent Britt, and United States Navy LTJG Chris Britt. Services to honor the life of “Cookie” Caceres will be held Saturday, October 20th at 1:00 PM from Concord Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Fidel Zarate, Bro.

Jim Aquiar, Bro. Sammy Allen, and Bro. Randy Sutherland officiating.

Burial will follow in Concord Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jeremy Guider, Benjamin Guider, Fidel Zarate, Benjamin Caceres, Ostel Mendez, and Edy Mendez. The Caceres family will receive friends at the church on Friday, October 19th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Concord Missionary Baptist Church Mission Fund. Condolences may be left at www. maxbrannonandsons.com.
