OBITUARY Pauline “Mina” Bessoni October 19, 1931 – September 20, 2018 Pauline “Mina” Bessoni, 86, of New Britain, passed away on Sept. 20, 2018. She was born in New Britain, attending local schools and was daughter to the late Levio and Ada (Terni) Bessoni.

Pauline worked as a secretary for the family business of Bessoni Bros. Construction. She continued on after the loss of their father and her four brothers, well into her retirement, until it’s sale in 2007.

She was also a parishioner of St. Ann Church, had been a member of the National Assoc. of Women in Construction and Newington Senior Center. She will be remembered for her love of cooking and sharing those delicious dishes, enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

She will be dearly missed by her family; sisters, Helen Bessoni , of Newington, with whom she shared her home with, Ann and John Smoloski, of New Britain, a sister in law, Lucille Bessoni of Farmington and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Mary Mackiewicz and four brothers, Frank, Raymond, George and Louis Bessoni. A time of visitation will begin Monday, Sept.

24, 2018 from 8:00am-9:30am at New Britain Memorial Donald D.Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. , New Britain. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00am in St. Ann Church, New Britain, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
