OBITUARY Pauline “Polly” Burton August 15, 1925 – January 14, 2019 Pauline “Polly” Hausmann Burton , born in Austin, TX died peacefully January 14, 2019 at the age of 93. She was the youngest of 8 children. Her husband of 62 years, Richard preceded her in death in 2007.

She leaves a son and daughter, KC Burton (Cindy) and Kathi Hardy (Percy), two grandchildren, Terry Burton and Katrina Countryman (Chris) and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Daughers of the Nile and Worthy Matron of Texas Order of the Eastern Star Austin Chapter #304. She was a graduate of Austin High.

Worked in the banking industry for many years and then retired from Tx Parks and Wildlife. She loved the outdoors; with her family she enjoyed boating on Lake Austin where she had her home, watersports on Lake Travis, and loved deep sea fishing in the Port Aransas area. She was a big fan of the Texas Longhorns and didn’t miss watching a game and enjoyed the rival with Texas A&M.

She was a wonderful devoted wife and mother. A sweet, kind and caring person who always thought of others. She was deeply loved by her children, family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday January 20 at 1:00 PM at Cook Walden Forest Oaks 6300 W. William Cannon Dr. following a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM and a Graveside Service to follow immediately.
