OBITUARY Pauline “Polly” Rhode Dupree January 24, 1923 – December 10, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Pauline (Polly) Rhode Dupree, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of the late Leon Dupree, entered into eternal rest December 10, 2018. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Garden Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC at 1:00 p.m..

There will be a private family service. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Pauline was born January 24, 1923, in Ridgeville, SC, daughter of the late Wilson and Vivian Boykin Rhode.

She is predeceased by her husband, Leon Dupree, her parents, Wilson & Vivian Rhode, sisters Christine Davis, Ollie Shuford, Elsie Chinners, and Noreen Douglas. Brothers Julian Rhode, Hilley Rhode, Laurie Rhode, and Barnette (Bunny) Rhode. She is survived by her children, Jerry (Genell) Dupree, Judy (Marty) Phalen, and Jan Taylor.

Grandchildren Steve (Melody) Dupree, Kim Dupree, Jillian Boyd, Paul Taylor (Tara), Jason (Erin) Phalen, Ryan Phalen, and Chrissy (Mark) Flamzenbaum. Twelve great grandchildren, one sister, Mary Dupree and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church for many years.
