Obituary for Pauline R. Crockett (Toney) Print Pauline R. Crockett, 86, of Oak Hill, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2019. She was born September 5, 1932, to the late Coy W. and Mary E. Toney. Pauline (Polly) started her working career at Rabbit’s Restaurant in Oak Hill, then moving on to Kessler’s Market, Family Dollar and finishing her career at Cato’s in Oak Hill.

She loved serving her customers, all of whom she considered friends, her job and her coworkers. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Alfred and Earl Toney and sister, Lura Smith. Survivors include her husband, Woodrow Crockett Jr., and son, Coy Arthur Toney (Caroline), sister-in-law, Jane Toney, nephew, Earl Robert Toney Jr. (Melinda), nieces; Jane Stover (James), Robin Eads (Sam), Brenda Goins (Roger) and Kay Bigelow and all of their families.

Funeral services will be on Sunday February 3, at 2:00 pm at the Jones Avenue Church of God in Oak Hill with Pastor Kevin Shelton officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday February 2, at High Lawn Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. Her final resting place will be at High Lawn Memorial Park.
