OBITUARY Pedro R. Peña September 14, 1945 – February 4, 2019 Pedro Rodriguez Peña Jr., 73, passed away peacefully February 4th at his home. Pedro also known as Pete is the son of the late Pedro M. and Juanita R. Peña. He is preceded in death by his son, Pedro R. Peña III and siblings Maria de la Luz (Lucy) Ruiz and Ramon R. Peña.

Pete was born to Pedro Sr. and Juanita Peña on September 14, 1945. He was the 5th child of twelve children; three brothers Albert Peña, Daniel Peña, Ramon Peña, and eight sisters Maria de la Luz Ruiz, Virginia Peña, Ernestina (Tina) Muniz, Celia Peña Koning, Bertha Peña Guevara, Angelita P. Kerlin, Teresa Peña, and Nora Peña. Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his loving wife Maria Dolores Peña, daughter Cecilia Kathleen Cardenas and husband, son David Nicholas Peña and wife, and daughter-in-law Maria Peña.

Pete is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren Izaiah Thomas Cardenas, Jaiden Joel Cardenas, Nicholas David Peña, Sophia Isabella Peña, Jennifer Peña, Rachel Peña, Pedro Andrew Peña IV, Valentino Peña, and Joy Peña. Pete will be remembered for his love of vacationing in his home town of Galveston, fishing and crabbing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed sampling all kinds of foods and drinks as well as cooking and baking his own creations.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
