DANTE, VIRGINIA – Peggy Ann Kiser Mariner, 79, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her home. She was born in Dickenson County, Virginia; daughter of the late Oliver and Dovie Kiser. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Thomas Jones; her second husband, James L. Mariner; two sons, Kevin Craig Jones and Jeffery Thomas Jones; one daughter, Lisa Michelle Jones; and two grandchildren.

She was a member of Dickenson County Historical Society, a Board Member of Stone Mountain Health Services, a volunteer of the Fourth World Movement, and she opened the Hazel Mountain Community Center. She was an avid quilter and she lived to make a difference. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Ann Farrell and significant other, William Goe of Baltimore, Maryland and Karen Renee Hiebler and fiancé, Bernard Campbell of Baltimore, Maryland; one son, Gregory Scott Jones of Dante, Virginia; one sister, Janice Faye Kiser of Morgantown, West Virginia; two brothers, Billy Harold Kiser and wife, Linda Elliott of Dante, Virginia and Oliver B. Kiser, Jr. and wife Betty of Statesville, North Carolina; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Remembrance for Peggy Ann Kiser Mariner will be conducted from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
