Peggy Bernice Myers, 69, of Port Neches, Texas passed away May 18, 2019. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 30, 1950 to the late, Carl Bryan and Gloria Williams Bryan. Peggy was a member of Val Verde Baptist Church in Groves.

Those left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her husband of 46 years, Edward Myers of Port Neches; her daughters, Melissa Myers of Hillister and Lisa Pratt of Port Acres; her granddaughters, Abigail Pratt and Anna Pratt; her sister, Linda Trainer; and her brother, Garland Bryan and his wife, Shane; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held at Val Verde Baptist Church in Groves on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Nick Dignan officiant.

Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Peggy’s name to the Val Verde Baptist Church Food Bank.
