Peggy Joyce Williams was born in Alex Oklahoma March 21, 1934 to Robert and Ocie (Phillips) Driskell. She passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home in Henryetta OK with her “adopted daughter”, and caregiver Bethany Waddle-Farley on November 21, 2018. The youngest of five children Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband Dalton Richard and second husband Roy Williams as well as her parents and siblings Inez Thurston, Melvin Driskell, Bobby Driskell and Delores Stephenson.

While she was married to Dalton Richard Peggy and her husband ran a dairy farm in California, took in foster children, raised German Shepards for the blind, and had two children of their own, Mark Richard and Greg Richard. The family eventually moved back to Oklahoma. Peggy was working for Western Electric in Oklahoma when she met her last husband Roy Williams.

They eventually moved to Broken Bow Oklahoma where they ran a marina & kept their granddaughter, Sarah Linley in the summer. When they retired they moved to Henryetta Oklahoma where Peggy continued to live until her passing. Well known in the family as one for a good joke, she was a classy but at times a sassy lady.

She was well loved and well respected by many. She is survived by her sons Greg and Mark, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Carman Richard, Rhett Williams, Kyler Horsford, Bryce Farley, Clayton Farley & Chris Linley.

Honarary Pallbearers will be Jason Richards, James Fisher, Larry Phillips & Raymond Davis. Services will be held Friday,December 7, 2018 at 2pm at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta OK with Don Carlson officiating. Interment will follow at New Sonora Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 8am until 8pm at Integrity Funeral Service.
