Obituary for Penny Ann Evans Penny Ann Parsons Evans, 55, of Palatka, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Florida Hospital Tampa. She was a native of Zanesville, OH and had lived in Putnam County for the past 34 years coming from Lake City. She had worked as a manager for Sonny’s BBQ in Palatka for many years.

Penny enjoyed volunteering both at the hospital and with the Babe Ruth Association. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bruce Evans, parents, Dan and Sharon Parsons of Palatka, son, Carlton Evans of Bostwick, great-grandmother, Elizabeth Benson of St. Petersburg, siblings, Pepper Ridenour (Freddie) and Paige Wilder, grandchildren, Emma and Kolton as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services celebrating Penny’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at 6:00 p.m. Memories and condolences may be expressed to the family at Penny’s Book of Memories page at www.
