Obituary for Percy Lavelle Highsmith Print Percy Lavelle Highsmith, 85, of Byron, Georgia passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Crossroads Cemetery, Marshall Mill Road, Crawford County. Reverend Mark Grinstead will officiate.

The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home. Born in Jacksonville Florida, He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and aircraft sheet metal mechanic from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Highsmith was preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Mason, Edward Highsmith, Richard Highsmith, and Johnny Highsmith.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie Elsie Highsmith, Children, Horace Alexander Dyer(Pam), Betty Sue Moye(Kerry), Sharon Granade(Wayne), and Daniel Highsmith (Deborah). Eight grandchildren and Thirteen great grandchildren. Friends may sign the online register at www.
