Perry’s Obituary Perry Dee Williams Keyes, 90, of Hereford, Texas left this earth to be with her precious Lord and Savior on May 22, 2019. Funeral services will be Monday, May 27, 2019 at Avenue Baptist Church of Hereford at 10:00 AM with Pastor Billy Joe Wall officiating, burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Family and friend visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home. Viewing will be Sunday from 3:00PM-8:00PM. Perry was born July 3, 1928, in Calahans Sawmill, Polk County, Texas, to her parents Henry and Ethel (Rhoden) Williams.

She married the love of her life, Andy Allen Keyes, on November 3, 1945, in Liberty, Texas. Perry and Andy were blessed with six children, all born in Raymondville, Texas, twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Andy passed away in 2002, and Perry married Dave Murray on October 11, 2004, in Hereford, Texas.

Perry devoted her life to her husband Andy, her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to sew, cook and tend her yard and garden. She was active in Hereford Extension Clubs and in her church, Avenue Baptist Church.

She was a loving, strong and wonderful Mother and faithful friend. She will be missed by many. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Thad Keyes of Hereford, Texas, and Jeff Keyes and his wife Liz of Lubbock, Texas.

She is also survived by three daughters, Kathy Paschel, and her husband Larry of Llano, Texas; Mary Schilling and her husband Wayne, of Slaton, Texas, and Linda Powroznik, and her husband Steve, of Belen, New Mexico. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Randall and Carol Keyes, Nate and Lori Keyes, Amy and Michael Schertz, Allen and Tatum Schilling, Greg and Lacy Schilling, B.J. and Mandi Schilling, Rachel and John Corcorran, Megan and Tim Ritter, Andy and Chasity Keyes, Nathan Powroznik, Devany Paschel, and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jack and Charley Williams, her husband, Andy, a son Allen Keyes, a grandson Michael Powroznik, her second husband Dave Murray, and a daughter-in-law Debbie Keyes.
