PEMBROKE – Peter W. Caraway, 20, of Pembroke, son, brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 8, 2018. Born on November 12, 1997 in Concord, he was the son of Michael and Michelle (Petrin) Caraway. Peter was a 2016 graduate of Pembroke Academy and currently a student at UNH Manchester as a Business Major.

During his time at Pembroke Academy, Peter enjoyed playing lacrosse. He found his greatest enjoyment from riding his motorcycle, fishing and relaxing with his friends. Finding his place in this world proved difficult for Peter.

Suffering from depression, Peter decided to end his own life. Peter was predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather, Roger Petrin in 1986. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Joseph Caraway of Pembroke and Daniel Caraway of Pembroke, his Maternal Grandmother, Loretta (Vezina) Petrin of Boscawen, Paternal Grandparents, Laurence Caraway of Epsom and Barbara (Gaffney) Caraway of Allenstown as well as a large extended family.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main St, Pembroke from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, River Road, Allenstown. Donations may be made in Peter’s memory to NAMI New Hampshire, 85 N. State Street, Concord, NH 03301.
