Phil Daryl Spires, 50, of McRae, died Wednesday, June 27. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, June 30, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with burial at Telfair Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00P.M. A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Spires was the son of Patricia Horton Spires and the late Phillis Dusty Spires.

He was of Baptist faith and a truck driver. Survivors include his mother, Pat H. Spires of McRae.
