Phil Leon Phillips, 85, of Sullivan, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur. No services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Sullivan VFW Post #6410.

McMullin-Young Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements. Phil was born March 21, 1933 in Bethany, the son of Earl and Lela (Standerfer) Phillips. He served in the United States Army.

Phil is survived by his son, Steve Auten of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Julie (Gary) Ohler of Normal. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter, Cheryl Robinson.
