Philip E. Meighan, age 61, of Luxor passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born April 28, 1957 in Braddock, a son of the late Philip and Gloria (Klaus) Meighan. He was a member of the Bethel AME Church in Greensburg.
Philip retired after a long career in construction at his company Ferina’s Roofing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother John. He is survived by his loving wife of over 28 years Sherry (Miller) Meighan; children Philip Meighan of Irwin, Desiree (Matthew) Moorey of Jeannette, Casey Sharpe of Brookville and Nina (James) Eseny of Jeannette; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers Donny and Michael; sisters Teresa “Terry”, Cindi, Jessie, Gloria and Gina; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 4 p.m. till time of service at 8 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Frank Brown officiating at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Philip’s family during this trying time.
