Philip M Hiestand, 51, of King of Prussia, PA died unexpectedly on Friday, March 8th 2019. He was born March 11, 1967 in Philadelphia to Harry K and Nancy P Hiestand; he was the youngest of five children. He attended Radnor Schools and Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

He was a huge sports fan and a lively conversationalist and enjoyed discussing world news and US politics. Philip also loved animals, especially cats. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Nancy Hiestand, his brother in law, George V Strong, his nephew Nicholas Chandler, and his long-time partner Barbara Hunsicker.

He is survived by his siblings, Laura Hiestand of Alna, ME, Harry Hiestand (Terri) of Niles, MI, Ann Strong of Haverford, Jennifer Higgins (Dave) of Wayne, PA and 12 nieces and nephews The service for Phil will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Chadwick and McKinney Funeral Home of Ardmore. Burial will be at a later date in Southwest Harbor, ME.
