Philip Vladessa, 93, of Seabrook Village Tinton Falls, passed away on Monday January 21, 2019 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Philip received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, graduated from Submarine School in New London, Conn.

and attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander before his honorable discharge from the Navy. Philip also worked for Texaco, New York, NY as a Lubrication Engineer for 30 years. He is formerly of Venice, Florida and has been a resident of Seabrook Village since 2012.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife Elsie Kalinovich Vladessa in 2015. Philip is survived by his four loving daughters; Karen Mahoney, Teresa (Terry) Caprio, Ellen Velazquez and Christine Augenbraun. He is also survived by his nine cherished grandchildren.

According to the family’s wishes all services will be private at this time. The family has requested that donations in his memory be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959 or stjude.org would be appreciated.
