Phoebee’s Obituary Phoebee P. Barto, 89, of Seaside, CA, formerly of Sioux City, IA, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at Dakota City Cemetery later this spring. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting the family.

She graduated high school and was united in marriage to Russell Barto on August 18, 1946 in LeMars, IA. He preceded her in death in 2000. Phoebee belonged to the American Legion for 27 years and was a member of the First Assembly God Church in North Sioux City.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Danny Barto, Canyon City, CO, Mark Barto, N. Sioux City, SD, Roxane Cutler, Seaside, CA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grand kids; brothers and sisters: Betty Jasmine, Larry Eugene, and Sandra Kay. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Virginia Fern Sanford, Donald Robert, Roland Clark, Robert, Donnabell, Richard David, Dennis, and Rodney.
