Phyllis Ann Stewart November 05, 1934 – May 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Phyllis Ann Stewart, age 84 of Otter Lake, MI passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital, Lapeer, MI, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 5, 1934 in Troy, MI to George and Clara (Spankie) Schumborg. Phyllis married Tom Stewart June 12, 1954 in Royal Oak, MI.

They had been married for 57 years before he passed away in 2011. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Phyllis is survived by her children, Peggy (Dick) Desotell of Lapeer, Tammy Stewart of Branford, FL, Tom (Chris) Stewart of Imlay City and Amy (Ed) Choike of Marlette; one sister; Marilyn (Don) Deiotte of Sterling Heights; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildre;, and one great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; and sister, Virginia McLeod. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 2-8PM at Avram Funeral Home, 6028 Lincoln St. Mayville, MI and on Sunday May 5, 2019, at Mayville United Methodist Church from 1PM until the time of service. A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Mayville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Ohmer Rd.

Mayville, MI with Pastor Carole Brown officiating. Burial will take place at Christian Memorial Gardens West, Rochester, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue, Lapeer, MI.
