Obituary for Phyllis Carolyn Burkett Phyllis C. Burkett age 93, was called home on Thursday, July 5th, 2018. From her birth November 3, 1924 until her death she nourished those around her with her warm smile, her love and her faith. Phyllis Carolyn was born to Harry and Viola Beers in Pennsylvania and was the middle of three children.

Phyllis was married to the love of her life Dewey Burkett in January 18, 1953. There were many things that Phyllis loved on this earth. She loved playing games with her friends in Parkwood, where she resided.

She loved to travel, take cruises and was an avid reader. However, there was nothing that she loved more than her family. They were her greatest rdzt/ of pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Viola and Harry, her husband Dewey and her older brother Richard. She is survived by her Sister Marjorie Finfrock, her five children, Paul (Betty) Burkett, William Burkett, Diane (Jason) Larue, Deborah Burkett, and Barbara (Shawn) Arnold, and grandchildren, Eric, Nick, Michael, Laurie, Ryan, Casey, Alisha, Josh, Scott, Randi, Brittney, Bridgett, Billilynn, Krista and Ali. She is also survived by 21 great- grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
