Obituary for Phyllis Fisher Print Phyllis Lorraine Fisher, age 60, of 1015 Ames Street, Staunton, Virginia and formerly of Clifton Forge, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born June 8, 1958 in Decatur, Georgia to the late Margaret M. Fisher Washington. She was a retired housekeeper who loved church and her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Washington, and a brother, Timothy Washington. She is survived by three daughters, Stacey Fisher Hundley of Roanoke, Larhonda Fisher of Roanoke, and Telisha Fisher of Maryland; two brothers, Orlando Fisher of Maryland and Romero Fisher of Manassas; a sister, Cherie Washington Huggard of Staunton; a brother, Anthony Troy Washington, Sr. of Roanoke; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 0219 at 1:00 PM in First Baptist Church, Clifton Forge with ministers Elder Leon Taylor, Reverend Roslyn Thomas, and Reverend Doris J. Woodson.

Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the church. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling arrangements.
