Celebration of life service for Phyllis Pamplin, 74, of Ringwood, will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at New Beginnings Wesleyan Fellowship in Ringwood, with Rev. Kelly Cronkhite and Rev. Tommy Gunn officiating.

Burial will follow in Ames Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5:30-7:00 PM, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Phyllis was born July 26, 1944, in Apache, Oklahoma and passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, in Enid.

Phyllis grew up in Apache and graduated from Apache High School. She married Phillip Eugene Pamplin on May 12, 1962, in Apache, and they made their first home in Okeene. They later lived in Oklaunion, Texas, Empire, Helena, and Ringwood.

She was a personnel management officer at James Crabtree Correctional Center for several years until she retired. Phyllis loved following her grandsons activities, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Phyllis is survived by his daughter Marci Pamplin Denton, and Ron Severin; and 2 grandsons Braden Hill, and Stran Denton.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nellie and Arthur Hicks and her husband Phillip on August 15, 2004. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Marci Denton DBA the Pamplin Family Memorial Scholarship Fund.
