OBITUARY Poppy Alderton December 23, 1928 – October 19, 2018 Poppy was born to parents, Richard & Margaret Larmore, On December 23, 1928. Poppy died peacefully on Friday, October 19th surrounded by family at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson. Poppy had a successful career at Black & Decker.

She is survived by her loving husband, LeRoy Alderton of 63 Years. She is survived by sister, Joan Horney and brother in law, Robert Horney. She was predeceased by sisters Mildred Byers and Doris Mushgrove and nephew Bruce Byers.

Nieces and nephews, David Albright, Donna Capecci, Deborah Kleim, Michael Horney, Linda Standiford, Ann January. Poppy loved her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews: Heather Kleim Sawyer, Kate Kleim Cross, Timothy Kleim, Patrick Albright, Stephanie Albright, Kelly Standiford, Mandy Standiford, Josie January. She was an animal lover and frequently adopted many cats over the years.

Poppy enjoyed cooking and her flowers and always enjoyed having family and friends stop by for visits. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Rd.

) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday, October 25 from 10 to 11 am at which a time a memorial service will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment Grace Falls Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in Poppy’s memory to Grace Falls Road Cemetery Fund 12633 Falls Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
