Obituary for Quan D. Chau Quan D. Chau, 77, of Hummelstown, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Holy Spirit Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born in South Vietnam on March 15, 1941, he was the son of the late Vinh Binh and Luc Nguyet Chau. Quan retired as a Quality Control Inspector from Atlas Roofing Products.

He formerly served with the South Vietnamese Navy. Quan also enjoyed going to the gym, working on cars, and tinkering with anything he could. Quan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jane M. Baer Chau, whom he married in October of 1977; his son, Honman husband of Amanda; his daughter, Quantina Gillis wife of Darin; his brother, Man Tcheou husband of Ninh; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with Major Fred Hagglund officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to the visitation Wednesday in the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala-Cynwyd, PA 19004.
