R. Michael Murphy 7-2-1951 to 9-28-2018 Son of Dorothay & Robert Murphy (deceased) Mike was born in Bozeman Montana, grew up in Utah and graduated from Judge Memorial HS, class of 1969. He worked at Deer Valley and Brighton Ski Resorts and as an Iron worker throughout the west (Union Local 27) and was an avid motorcyclist. Mike died at home of natural causes.

He is survived by his mother Dorothay Murphy-Henry (Joe), brother Tom Murphy (Laura), sisters Kathryn Murphy (Michael Mahannah), Teresa Hoffpauir (Bobby), Lizzie McCall (Chuck) and Patricia Tarno, as well as many extended family members, and loving friends. Mass of Christian Burial and Interment will be Saturday, October 13th at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 790 26 ½ Road, Grand Junction, Colorado: Very Reverend Father Donald Malin V.F., Celebrant. A memorial celebration for local friends will take place at a later date.

The family suggests the American Cancer Society for those wishing to make a donation in Mike’s memory.
