Robert Steve Wachenschwanz, 72, of Wintersville, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 10, 1946 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Robert L. and Anna V. (Hess) Wachenschwanz. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Suellen Nichols.

Steve served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he worked in the 80 inch mill as a motor inspector. Steve is survived by his wife, Mary (Bradley) Wachenschwanz; two children, Nancy Wachenschwanz and Stephen Wachenschwanz; step-son, James (Nancy) Baumberger, Jr.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Gabriella, and Luke; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville on Friday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 3 PM with Pastor Mike Mantos officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.

Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr., Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202. Send condolences online www.
