Ralph’s Obituary Ralph A. Hiday, 96, Anderson, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following one week illness. He was born on March 12, 1923, in Hancock County to Hubert and Myrle (Rushton) Hiday. Ralph retired in 1985 from the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and had served in Japan. Ralph is survived by a son Steven (Kelly Sosbe); one granddaughter, Kebra (Christopher) Kincer; two great-grandchildren, Miranda and Christian; and one brother, William Hiday. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years; and ten brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Pastor Glenn Knepp officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
