Ralph Boezeman Jr, age 92 of Roselawn, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at home. Ralph was born in Newton County, Indiana on August 12, 1926, the son of Ralph Sr. and Kathryn (Molenaar) Boezeman. He married Doris M. Witt on March 27, 1948 in Jasper County.

She preceded him in death in 2000. Ralph’s heart was in farming. In 1960 he began working for Standard Oil.

In 1975, he formed Boezeman Oil company. He served in the Army Air Corps, was a member of Community Christian Reformed Church of Roselawn, enjoyed spending time and gardening in Kentucky, bowling, fishing & wood-crafting. Ralph loved to work, visit with others, and “making things grow”.

Ralph is survived by his children: Don (Emma) Boezeman of Roselawn, IN; Dolores (Dale) Baswell of Roselawn, IN; Daniel (Martha) Boezeman of Lake Village, IN; 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant son, David Boezeman, one brother and 2 sisters. Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Service in DeMotte, Indiana on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Jackson Funeral Service in DeMotte at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Community Christian Reformed Church of Roselawn.
