Ralph Frank Thorp, II, age 70, of Waterford, CT, departed this life on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Born on July 5, 1948 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph Frank and Mary F. (Underwood) Thorp and the husband of the former Karen L. Betler. Ralph was a Masters Degree recipient and worked in the Administrative field.

He proudly served and retired from the United States Coast Gaurd, where he earned several meritorious awards for his dedication and service. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 26th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Interment, concluding with Military Honors, will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery.
