Ralph McBride November 01, 1929 – May 03, 2019 Share this obituary Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Ralph Bowen McBride born November 1, 1929 in Yukon, West Virginia to Rufus B. McBride and Sally Maxine Wright McBride passed away May 3, 2019 at Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in Death by his Wife Evelyn Fern Swim McBride and his Granddaughter Karen Jo Garver Woods, two brothers Clarence and Rufus and three sisters Mary Jackson, Nancy Jackson and Elizabeth Bradley, all of Virginia. He is survived by two sisters, Ella Marrs (Ed) of Virginia and Mamie Lou Caudill (Dean) of Mars, Pennsylvania.

Six Children, Linda Shaffer, Betty Lubbert, Sharon Garver, Ralph McBride, Harry McBride and Annie King, all of Butler County, Pennsylvania and he was Dad to his oldest Grandson Richard Regalski, Grandpa to 7 Grandsons and 4 Granddaughters, Great Grandpa to 16. Two Son-In-Laws Richard Garver and James King, chosen family William Lubbert and Diane Truver, all of Butler County and his Best Friend Charlie Lindsay of Autumn Grove. He was the favorite Uncle to his many nieces and nephews and growing up in Virginia he was best friends with all his cousins.

Ralph was a coal miner in Virginia for 17 years, moved his family to Pennsylvania and worked as a machinist, and spent his retirement years as a master woodworker. Ralph never met a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He will be missed by everyone he ever met.

Friends received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services Wednesday in the funeral home at 1 pm. Pastor Dan Turney of Christian Community Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Glade Run Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Middle Volunteer Fire Co, Valencia PA, or Autumn Grove Nursing Home, Harrisville, PA. Please send condolences at www.
