Ramona Benford was born 12/4/1954. To the parentage of Sarah and Romine Black, who both proceeded her in death. Also proceeding her in death; granddaughter Dikendle West (Pooh Pooh) and grandson Quindell Lee, siblings; Billy Joe Black, Lavaughn Young, Rayford E. Roland, Jerald Deen Roland, Larry Geen Roland, Jimmy Charles Dean.

Ramona got her education at L.G Pinkston high school and accepted Christ later in life. Those who knew her well called her “Mona Gail “, but she was “Aunt Mona” to most. Very honest, outspoken, hardworking, reliable, and loving.

She was the true definition of A Real Go Getter. She went to Nursing school and a Nurse she was until she was called home. She was of great service to everyone she met.

Ramona leaves to cherish two children, Gerald and Africia Dean, grandchildren; Romeion Perkins, Laquincy Nix, Messiah Lee, Unique Davis, Manceil Dean, Caden Dean, Dishenik West and a great grandson Malachi Nix, sisters; Eunita Roland, Alma Whitfield, Robbie Riles, and a host of family and friends.
