Randall L Hilbert, 63, of Akron, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, December 17, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise; his daughters, Katie and Kelsey; his brother, Ronald (Kathy) Hilbert; and his parents, Beverly and Kenneth Hilbert. Randy was a family man through and through, and the pride he felt for his family was something that he showed in countless ways.

Randy worked for his family’s business All-American Carpet Cleaning for 41 years, and was also a talented writer. He loved to read, listen to music, watch sports, go for rides in his jeep, and spend time outdoors (the sunnier the better). He could make almost anyone smile, and he loved the people in his life so well and so creatively.

His loss will be felt deeply by all those who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held in his honor in January. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Franklin Fire Department, 5605 Manchester Rd.
