Randolph K. “Randy” Rutan, 71, of Gloucester, MA, husband of Kim C. (Natale) Rutan, passed away on Friday evening, November 30, 2018 with his loving family at his side. Randy was born in New York City on June 22, 1947, the son of the late Earl F. and Irene M. (Steele) Rutan. Randy attended and graduated from Fox Lane High School with the Class of 1965.

A true child of the 60s who epitomized the Woodstock era, Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. A master carpenter that would invent and build a tool if it didn’t exist; he loved working on the rebuild of his home for the past 25 years. His love of cars was his true hobby while the music of the 60s kept him smiling while working on these projects.

Randy is survived by his wife Kim, his son, Joshua, daughter-in-law, Annie, and daughter Ashley, son-in-law Dan Messier; granddaughter Presley and a very soon to be grandson. Randy is also survived by his brother Scott Rutan, sister-in-law Janice, their son Scotty, his brother-in-law Vincent Natale, his wife Cathy, their two sons Steven and Jonathan and his sister-in-law Karen Natale. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester, MA.

Family and friends are cordially invited. In keeping with Randy’s wishes, there are no services and burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930.
