Lopez 89, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at her residence in Zapata, Texas. Mrs. Lopez is preceded in death by her husband, Eluterio Lopez; son, Roberto Rene Lopez; daughter, Raquel Amelia Lopez; parents, Raul and Alicia Puig; brothers, Dario A. Puig, Juan Puig and a sister, Gloria L. Bazan. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her son, Luis Lauro (Patricia) Lopez; grandchildren, Jessica, Luis L. Lopez, Jr., Roberto Lopez, Jr., Araceli, Rene Lopez; numerous great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lourdes N. Lopez; brother, Raul Puig and a sister-in-law, Gloria Puig and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
