OBITUARY Raul Mata January 26, 1947 – December 19, 2018 MATA, Raul 71, passed away December 19, 2018. He was the third of twelve children born in Mexico to the late Jose Mata Espinoza and Angelina Martinez Aguirre. He enjoyed a career as a professional wrestler, in Mexico and the United States.

Raul has always been very athletic, and continued to be, attending Zumba classes taught by his daughter Claudia. Raul is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lucrecia Mata, and wife Beverly A Mata. He is survived by children; Oralia Mata Pena, Claudia Mata Pena, Manuel Y Mata Pena, Paul Mata, and Kristina Mata, siblings; Arturo Mata, Esperanza Mata, Jose Mata, Francisco Mata, Celia Mata, Margarita Mata, Martin Mata, Angelina Mata, Alicia Mata, and Carlos Mata, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
