He loved working long hours to provide the family with a comfortable lifestyle. He loved and accepted each and every one. His love of the family evolved into building a cabin by the river and then a pavilion to be enjoyed by the entire extended family and friends for numerous events each year.

Everyone looked forward to “Ray’s chicken”, whether at a family reunion or when he was helping with fund raising for the local park or football or baseball team.
